• The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India proposed to issue Sovereign Green Bonds in Budget 2022-23 and decided to consider Investment in Sovereign Green Bonds as “Investment in Infrastructure” which shall be classified as “Central Government Securities” Please refer to the circular for more details.
