Circular Regarding measures to be taken in view of recent spurt in Covid cases (dated-22.12.2022) – ESIC.

• The competent authority has directed following:
• Covid related measures with a focus on five-fold strategy of test track-treat-vaccination & adherence to Covid appropriate behaviour are to be ensured in all ESI Healthcare facilities.
• Plan of action (PoA) may be prepared and implemented in advance by all ESIC hospitals as per local Covid situation. This PoA to be in accordance with requisite SOPs for ensuring adequate number of dedicated Covid beds with functional equipment’s, ventilator, oxygen availability etc. so that the required medical services are available on a very short notice in hour of need.
• In view of above, it is requested to take cognizance of above and take further necessary action for handling Covid situation in your respective hospital/ dispensary, refer attachment for further details.
