• The Central Bank of Sri Lanka, vide a press release, issued SL Purchasing Managers’ Index for the month of May 2023 in which the Purchasing Managers’ Indices for Manufacturing activities is declined with index value of 46.2 and for Services activities , PMI returned to the growth territory with an index value of 53.5 in May 2023.
