- The Ministry of Investment Promotion, vide an order, stated that with effect from 6th January 2024, a cess levy will be charged on goods listed in Column III at the rates specified in Column IV. The cess will be applicable on the customs value/quantity of goods imported from Singapore as per the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. Please refer the order for more details.
