- The Ministry of Fisheries invites opinions and suggestions from all stakeholders before 15th September 2023 to introduce a new Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act repealing the existing Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act No. 02 of 1996. The draft of the bill can be obtained from Fisheries Department at https://www.fisheriesdept.gov.lk. Please refer to the notification for more details.
