- The Securities and Exchange Board of India issued a consultation paper on framework for mandating additional disclosures from Foreign Portfolio Investors that fulfil certain objective criteria, to guard against possible circumvention of Minimum Public Shareholding, and to guard against possible misuse of the FPI route to circumvent the requirements of Press Note 3. The comments are to be sent latest by 20th June’2023 in the prescribed format. Please refer to the consultation paper for more details.
