Extension of lockdown with guidelines from 17.05.2021 to 24.05.2021 – Govt. of Meghalaya

Entire State:

Political, public, social and religious gatherings are not permitted including conferences, meetings and trainings.
Entry of tourist from outside the state shall not be permitted.
International border trade shall be suspended.
Sports activities are not permitted.
Interstate movement of persons shall be restricted this shall not apply for transit vehicles of Assam/Tripura/Manipur/Mizoram.
Dpty. Commissioners are Authorised to impose restrictions depend on local situation.

East Khasi Hills District:

Lock down extended in East khasi hills district 17.05.2021 to 24.05.2021.
Vehicular movements is restricted movement of vehicles shall be permitted only for essential services including health services.
Inter district movement is restricted.
All Major markets shall remain closed and all essential goods are made available through shops in the localities.
All central and state government offices other than those already exempted shall be closed.
Ecommerce and home delivery services for all goods are permitted.
Restaurants cafes and food delivery services are permitted only from home delivery services subject to regulation by Dpty. Commissioner.
- Other districts:
- Weekend lock down shall be enforced in the other 10 districts of the sate form 22.05.2021 to 24.05.2021.
Exceptions:
- Health services including emergency services and vaccinations, agriculture and veterinary services, movement of essential goods, Home delivery services.
- Person travelling on essential government duty viz.,
- Medical team and officials on Covid duty, police and armed forces, civil defense and home guards, fire and emergency services, power and water supply, roads and municipal services, food corporation of India, Information and public relations.
- Bank, postal, telegraph, NIC and telecommunications.
- Print and electronic media.
