- The International Financial Services Centres Authority issued Banking Handbook – Conduct of Business Directions- V 5.0 and this module seeks to enable IBUs to provide high end services to the designated entities without requiring the underlying transaction to be booked in the IBU. This module operates on the premise that the clients of the designated entities to whom such services are sought to be provided have been duly onboarded by the designated entity as per the laws and regulations of the respective jurisdiction. Staff assigned to the IBU for providing services under this module may also provide such services in cases where the underlying transaction is booked in the IBU. In such cases, the IBU shall need to comply with the requirements of the respective modules of the COB handbook, please refer attachment for more details.
