- The Inland Revenue Department, vide notice, stated that from January 1, 2024, individuals over 18 years old must register with the Inland Revenue Department to obtain a TIN. And any person whose earnings over Rs. 1,200,000/- per year must register for Income Tax. The Non-compliance of the above registration will result in automatic registration by Inland Revenue Department with a penalty up to Rs. 50,000/-. Please refer the notice for more details.
