- The Inland Revenue Department, vide notice PN/TIN-REG/2024-01, stated as per proposal made in the Government Budget for the year 2024, mandating the TIN requirement for the purpose of certain specific activities within Sri Lanka and any non-resident person intending to perform such an activity is advised to be registered with the Commissioner General of Inland Revenue .
