- In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 25 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, namely, called as the Environment (Protection) Second Amendment Rules, 2023. The amendments include the Emission standards of Hot Mix Plants. They shall come into force on expiry of the period of six months from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, refer attachment for further details.
