- The Central Government has released the Environment (Protection) fourth Amendment Rules, 2023. The amendment is related to the proviso inserted in general condition in the schedule I. The proviso reads as- “Provided that the supply of Genset and Genset engine in respect of which purchase order has been received by the manufacturer on or before the 30th of June, 2023 shall be permitted upto the 30th June, 2024 as per the norms defined in this condition, refer attachment for further details.
