- In exercise of powers under conferred under Section 19(1) of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981, the State Government has declared the entire State of Karnataka as Air pollution control Area. In line with the same, the Board had issued an order regarding mandatory retrofitting of emission control devices/equipment in DG sets with capacity of 125 KVA and above in the State of Karnataka, refer attachment for further details.
