- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of September, 2022, as the date on which the provisions of sections 38 to 43, sections 45A to 45H, sections 46 to 73, sections 74 to 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, sections 82 and 83 of the said Act shall come into force in all the areas of Kalahandi district in the State of Odisha, refer attachment for further details.
