In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (1) of rule 167 A of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, read with Section 136A of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Government of Kerala hereby specify the ‘Vehicle Location Tracking Device’ and ‘Panic Button’ as electronic enforcement devices for the purpose of the said rule, refer attachment for further details.
