- In pursuance of rule 8 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and Notification No. G.S.R. 727(E) dated 11/10/2021 published in the Gazette f India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3,Sub-Section(i), namely:
- In the said notification No. G.S.R. 727(E) dated 11/10/2021, para 2A, Sub-para(i) of Hindi version and English version, the word “, 3.7 kg per hectare to 4.0 kg per hectare in the crop year 2018-19 and 3.7 kg per hectare to 4.2 kg per in the crop year 2019-20.” shall be inserted after the word 2020-21.
- In the said notification No. G.S.R. 727(E) dated 11/10/2021, para 2A, Sub-para(ii) of Hindi version and English version, the word “were de-licensed in the crop year 2019-20 and 2020-21” shall be substituted with the word “had cultivated opium poppy during the crop year 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 and tendered an average yield of Morphine (MQY-M) below 3.7 kg per hectare”, refer attachment for further details.
