- The Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies, vide an Order replaced the Excise Duty rate specified in Column IV of certain articles in Schedule 1 of the Extraordinary Gazette notification No. 2312/68 dated December 31, 2022, issued under the Section 3 of the Excise (Special Provisions) Act, No. 13 of 1989. This Order shall come into effect from 1st June 2023. Please refer to the Order for more details.
