Order regarding Containment measures w.e.f 01.09.2021 (dated – 27.08.2021) – Govt. of Meghalaya

• Re-opening of educational institutions subject to compliance with SOP being issued by Education Department.
• Central Government offices and State Government offices may function at 100% strength and shall close at 5PM daily.
• Banks and post offices may function at 100% strength and shall close at 5PM daily.
• Inter district movement is permitted. However, movement of commercial vehicles into East Khasi hills district shall be regulated by the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi hills district.
• Reopening of restaurants and bars at maximum 50% strength subject to compliance with SOP being issued by the respective deputy commissioners.
• All permissions are subject to strict observance of the Covid-related protocols. All concerned are advised to refer to the relevant SOPs for further details and necessary compliance.
