- There shall be corona curfew from 10.00Pm till 5.00Am every day.
- Prohibited activities:
- All parks, garden, cinemas, theatres, multiplex, auditorium, museum, entertainment venue, libraries shall remain closed for public on all days.
- Gathering and congregations in any form shall remain strictly prohibited.
- Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, festival related gatherings prohibited.
- Permitted Activities:
- All Essential service officers of Government.
- All shop, commercial, business establishments shall be opened from 9.00Am to 5.00Pm without air-conditioning facility by Covid protocol.

- Vegetable, fruits shops shall be functional from 5.00Am to 5.00Pm.
- The shops at big market be permitted to resume functioning by following Covid norms.
- All private offices shall function with 50% staff strength from 9.00Am to 6.00Pm.
- Only home delivery/ take away from restaurants is permitted up to 5.00Pm.
- Industrial establishments, manufacturing centres and construction activities are permitted under the following terms and conditions:
- Factories, manufacturing unites and construction activities that are operation must subscribe to the following discipline.
- Before opening the industrial establishments, manufacturing centres and construction activities the employees should go for Covid RAT test with 15 days, all the eligible employees should be vaccinated as per criteria. Failure to get vaccinated will closure of the entity.
- If a labourer /worker found positive, other labourers who have come into active contact with him to be quarantined with pay.
- In case of any worker found to be positive, unit to be closed until completely sanitised.
- Lunch and tea breaks to be staggered.
- If worker is found positive he or she would be allowed medical leave and cannot be discontinued during the absence for this reason.
- Following essential serves shall permitted without any time restrictions:
- POL bunks, LPG, ATMS, Telecommunication, Internet services, IT and IT enabled services etc.,
- Dairy & milk supply, booth pharmacy, hospitals, medical labs, pharma’s, opticians, medicines and medical equipment’s are permitted.
- All e-commerce activites are permitted.
- Annexure -1 shall be strictly followed throughout the UT of Puducherry:
- All shops owners and person working in shops / commercial establishment/industries are directed to get themselves vaccinated with 15 days, failing which they will not be allowed to function.
- Violation of restrictions/lockdown order/norms for containment zones by shop/commercial establishment/industry shall be fined to a maximum level as permissible under the laws applicable.
