Order under section 144 Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 in lieu of covid-19 (South Goa District) (dated -23.01.2022) – Govt. of Goa.

• No road show, Pad-yatra, cycle/bike/vehicle rally and procession shall be allowed till 31st January, 2022.
• No physical rally of Political parties or candidates (including probable) or any other group related to election shall be allowed till 31st January, 2022.
• Public gatherings in case of indoor halls/auditoriums/community halls/ etc shall be restricted to 50 % of the seating/venue capacity or 300, whichever is less.
• Political parties, Candidates, their party workers, shall ensure the compliance of COVID appropriate behaviour & guidelines and Model Code of Conduct at all occasions during the activities connected with elections.
• No campaigning is allowed between 8pm and 8 am.
• Door to Door campaigning shall be allowed for a maximum of 10 (ten) persons including candidates (excluding security personnel), refer attachment for further details.
