- The Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies, vide an Order, requires the Director General of Customs, from 06th January 2024 to demand and levy of each article specified in column 3 of the schedule at the preferential rate of the customs import duty, which is leviable and payable under the Sri Lanka – Singapore Free Trade Agreement, set out in the entry in column 4 of the schedule as an integral part of Schedule A of the customs ordinance. The Extraordinary Gazette no.2354/04 dated 16th October 2023 is rescinded effective from 06th January 2024. Please refer the order for more details.
