- Further, the redemption price of SGB shall be based on the simple average of closing gold price of 999 purity [published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA)] of the week (Monday-Friday) preceding the date of redemption. Accordingly, the redemption price for the premature redemption due on March 29, 2022 and March 30, 2022 shall be `5166/- (Rupees Five Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Six only) per unit of SGB based on the simple average of closing gold price for the week March 21-25, 2022, refer attachment for further details.
