- The SEBI Board met in Mumbai today under the chairmanship of Shri Ajay Tyagi. The Part-Time Members joined the meeting through video conferencing. The Board, inter-alia, took the following decisions:
- New SEBI (Share Based Employee Benefits and Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2021.
- Review of regulatory framework for promoter, promoter group and group companies.
- Amendment to SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012.
- Review of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
- Facilitating Ease of Doing Business in MIIs.
- Amendment to SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011 (“Takeover Regulations”).
- The obligation for physical disclosures would be done away with effect from April 01, 2022.
