Revised guidelines clarification order dated 13.05.2021 on Containment of Covid-19 – Govt. of Karnataka

  • In clause 8: Unrestricted movement of all types of goods and cargo outside containment zone:
  • All facilities in the supply chain of essential goods, whether involved in manufacturing, wholesale or retail of such goods through stores, or e-commerce companies shall be allowed to operate adhering to National Directive for Covid-19 management, Movement of all types of goods including empty goods vehicles.
  • Clarification: At the ground level different interpretations are being made on the types of goods exempted, which is hinder smooth flow of supply chain of goods.
  • Hence, it is re-iterated that there shall be no restrictions on movement of goods and goods would also include finished goods in inventory of manufacturing units/warehouses.
